I am not extraordinarily gifted in theology nor do I have any supernatural gifts that allow me to see through walls, read people’s minds, or see into the future. I am an average person who goes to church, takes care of a family, and sorts through everyday challenges and joys. I want to see God.
This blog is the result of that one simple statement. I know God is everywhere, I know angels and demons exist, I know that miracles are occurring in ordinary people’s lives all over the world, and I know every word of the Bible is God-breathed. But I’m unsatisfied with just the knowledge of that, and I am sure that you are too. I want to see the fingerprints of God all over my life. I want to encounter God in tangible ways that speak to my everyday life. So I asked Him to show me. To open my eyes to the unseen so that I might not live solely on what I have seen. Honestly, what I have seen in life is not that hopeful or inspiring but it is tangible, and as people we place more truth into the things we have seen and experienced than in what is unseen to the human eye.
In my experience, when you ask God to reveal Himself…He does. He wants you and I to see Him. Jesus is exactly the fulfillment of that longing in our hearts. The tangible God showing us, through His own life, what it means to love, serve, and live out our faith. I hope as you read the postings that YOU will begin to have your own encounters with the tangible God.
Jeremiah 33:3 (Amp)
Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).
